· If you are not given any instructions, you should ask if there are any special instructions needed to prepare for the test.
· Adhere to the instructions related to any test that provided in the test menu before performing the test.
· If the instructions are unclear, be sure to ask the person ordering the test for clarification.
· Some medication affects the result of certain tests. Inform the customer service of any medication (such as antibiotics, vitamins, etc) you are taking as well as the dose and last time medicine was taken. This information is useful if the doctor has any doubt about your test results.
· Alert the phlebotomy if you have deviated from the instruction.
· Certain behaviours may affect some test results (such as excessive exercise, dehydration (not taking in enough fluids), etc).
